The Seagull is an animal that occasionally appears in the comics.
It made his first appearance in Big Nate when it ate Nate's food. The seagull had chowed down all of the food Nate Wright had brought to the beach, much to his aggravation, resulting in him repetitively insulting the bird. However, when Francis Pope saw that his lunch wasn't ruined, seeing what Francis' lunch was, Nate pushed himself to apologize.
