Nick Blonsky (Born July 24, 2001) is a minor character in the Big Nate novel series. He makes his first major appearance in Big Nate Flips Out.
Background
Physical Appearance
He has brown curly hair, has a bit of a paunch, usually wearing a grided shirt, with a white backpack. He wears black pants with a belt and gray shoes. Whenever he makes the 'P' sound in his speech, he slobbers in the process.
Personality and Traits
Nick is mean and has a nasty habit of picking his nose.

Big Nate In A Class By Himself
Nick Blonsky makes a cameo appearance on Page 1, when Nate remarks that “...everyone is raising their hand, even Nick Blonsky--who is usually is the back row with a pencil up his nose.”
Big Nate Strikes Again
Nick makes a cameo in one of Nate's worst project partners.
Big Nate Flips Out

Not only this is his first major role, he is also the main antagonist in the story. In the story it is seen that he was in-charge of last year's chronicle (which did not go well). Later in the story, Nick finds out Nate has one of the school cameras and steals it from Nate's locker, causing tensions in Nate and Francis' friendship. He later reveals he did this to start and witness a rigged fight. He is soon suspended after Dee Dee recovers proof of this and was not able to join Gina's Geniuses in the Trivia Slam and instead, replaced by Randy Betancourt.
Big Nate In The Zone
Nick Blonsky makes a cameo appearence. In Page 178, you can see Nick picking his nose.
Big Nate Lives it Up
Nick made three silent cameo appearances. He first was seen picking his nose again, then in the lunchroom eating by himself, and then became part of Gina's Geniuses.
Trivia
- It is unknown how Nick managed to steal the P.S. Camera.
- He is very slim in Big Nate Strikes Again, since he is a doodle, but fat and mean in Big Nate Flips Out.
- Whenever he says a "P" word, he slobbers.
- He cannot catch anything, but caught the camera that was thrown up high by Randy.
