Marty Wright told his son, Nate Wright, about the note that he got from Nate's teacher, which said that Nate was goofing off in class. Then Nate Wright started venting about how his teacher was trying to stifle creativity. Despite Marty telling Nate what he really did, Nate still couldn't believe that the teacher didn't think what he did was funny.


  • Nate's remark about his teacher seemed like something that he would say about Clara Godfrey, his most hated teacher, hence the teacher mentioned in this strip could possibly be her.
