Benjamin Franklin was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States.



A noted polymath, Benjamin Franklin was a leading author, printer, political theorist, politician, postmaster, scientist, musician, inventor, satirist, civic activist, statesman, and diplomat. He invented the lightning rod, bifocals, the Franklin stove, a carriage odometer, and the glass armonica. He also wrote Poor Richard's Alamanac

Nate and Gina are assigned together on a social studies research project on a great american. Nate mentions Benjamin Franklin to avoid trouble in the library.
